My Story

You didn't look well, with a burden twice your weight on your shoulders, in the midst of a rough patch. I was passing by, making my way, finding my Shangri-la.

I saw you, and I wanted to help. Along the way perhaps feelings were developed. But things will get better for you. And you will forget me.

I'll soon be on my way again. As usual, as always.
And you will be happy again. Without me.

When Will You Ever Learn

That the wonder called Love will never be yours to embrace, to cherish, to call your own. It has never been, and will never be, yours. Do not tear, do not plead, do not coerce, it will be all in vain. If it is indeed yours to be, it will be. But if it isn't, no force in Heaven or on Earth could give it to you.

Some may say that you are a nice person. Intelligent, witty, charismatic, the list goes on. Others say you are an egoistic fool, with blinds over your eyes. Perhaps it is time to believe the others.

Wake up you fool. You are destined to walk the plains alone.

But how long will the smile last?
